Christmas Wrappings From What You Have On Hand

Bows
Make gift bows from magazines? Sounds crazy, but follow this simple tutorial and you will find yourself making some pretty cool looking bows for nothing. Making these bows is easy with only a few simple steps involving cutting your magazine pages into strips and then folding them into a bow. This would also be especially helpful when it is snowing out and you don't feel like running to the store for yet another bag of bows. It's frugal and it's free. (and a little bit green, ho, ho, ho). Wrapping Paper
*If you already buy the Sunday paper for the coupons, save the comic section as well. They are bright and colorful and will look great under your tree wrapped around gifts.

*Tin foil also works well to wrap gifts as well as create one of a kind Christmas Ornaments.

*Decorative shopping bags can be saved and used as gift bags.

*Material on hand can be used to fold around gifts and tie with a string.

Tape
If you don't have it this year you will have to purchase some but after Christmas it will go on sale so stock up! This is really just a small way to save money at Christmas or you use it as an option for when you are wrapping those gifts late on Christmas Eve and don't have the willpower to go out in the snow and find more wrapping paper!
